Please contribute to our debate
We are pre-service teachers wishing to spread awareness in where our food comes from and how it is produced. As a society, we are removed from the concept of food production, since we can get everything from our local grocery store. Bananas are products that do not grow in Canada, yet it is common for most of us to eat a banana nearly once a day. As members of our society, we would like to show both the benefits and the concerns in importing bananas to Canada.
Our goal is for other members of our society to contribute to this process by informing themselves and then deciding which side they agree with.
